It’s that time of year for intentions, resolutions and goals. How do you feel about goals, resolutions, intentions? Are you all in or groaning at yet another blog on goals.
I’ve been all over the place on goals - from hearty goal setting, ignoring them, anti goal setting, feeling like I should but not really wanting to, forced corporate goal setting, you name it. I am back to intentional planning, intentions and goal setting after a year review process. I find the review of the previous year enriching and rewarding. See let's review and plan blog for details.
Here are some articles I've written over the years that may be useful depending upon where you are on the goal setting spectrum.
- Into goals or Not into them - Check out - So what is it going to be? New Year - New You or New Year - Same You?
- Feeling too much loss & grief to set goals.

This year, after more than three years of research and study on resiliency I’m focusing on Resilient Goals. For the next month, we’ll be focusing on Resilient Goals. What do I mean by that?
Resilient Goals - means a goal that is flexible and can adjust to a change or worse misfortune. It’s a goal that you can recover, review, reframe, and if it's NOT met and keep moving forward to reach the goal or reframed goal. NOT giving up!
I’m committed to daily social media posting daily on this theme of Resilient Goals. I’d love to know what you like best, the inspirational quotes, journal prompts or affirmations.
The infographic I created for us is one great way to start thinking about goals and resiliency.
How about you?
What do you think about goals & resilient goals?
Do any of the topics on the infographic resonate with you?
What goals, intentions or resolutions are you setting? Why are they important?
I’m leaning into R – Reflecting my values in my goals. Walk & talk my values100% everywhere I am, all day, EVERY day.
Here’s to 2019 and YOUR Resilient Goals!
